Risk Description

Due to contact made with the vehicle’s Engine Control Module (ECM) bracket, the 12-volt positive battery cable can become damaged during a frontal crash. This can cause an electrical short-circuit, increasing the risk of a post-crash, engine compartment fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
