Tricycle – green frog was recalled on 13 July 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0672/07. Injuries risk reported by Hungary. The toy poses a serious risk of injuries because :- the hub caps covering the wheels can be detached when 5 N force is applied, and sharp endings become accessible,- the stability of the toy is not appropriate, both the tricycle and the rocking-seat tip over,- the lid of the battery holder can be opened without using a tool with one movement, and the batteries become accessible, - the safety instructions are missing.

Risk Description

Product Description
The tricycle is intended for children between 1,5-3 years, supplied with a push-bar and detachable rocking plate, by which the tricycle can be transformed into a rocking-seat. There is a frog-formed device on the handle-bar which can be operated with 3x1,5 V AA batteries. The toy gives music sound and croaks.
