Risk Description

The product does not have sufficient mechanical strength and could therefore easily break in case of an impact or fall of the product. Moreover, the connectors of the wires supplying the bimetallic switch and the heating element are not correctly crimped and over time could detach. The product also has Insufficient clearance distances. All these could cause live parts to become accessible to the user, who could receive an electric shock. Additionally, the electrical plug is non-compliant, which could lead to a loose connection and overheating of the product. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60335-1 and EN 60335-2-23.
