Travel adaptor was recalled on 17 April 2009 under EU Safety Gate alert 0523/09. Electric shock risk reported by Germany. The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - the travel plug is designed only for operation in protection class 2, as it is not possible to use an earthing conductor of the corresponding supply network, - it is possible to use a UK plug and therefore to operate devices that require an earthing conductor (protection class 1).
