Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because it is possible for the user to touch live parts during insertion or withdrawal from corresponding socket-outlets. In particular, the plug portion can become detached from the socket portion, exposing the live terminals of the plug pins, if the base is not locked correctly and an upward force is applied during withdrawal. The product does not comply with the relevant national standard, BS 1363.
