Travel adaptor was recalled on 17 February 2012 under EU Safety Gate alert 0259/12. Electric shock risk reported by Denmark. The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - single-pole insertion of a plug is possible leaving the remaining live pin accessible; - it is possible to insert a Class I plug into the socket-outlet part of the adaptor which bypasses the earth.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - single-pole insertion of a plug is possible leaving the remaining live pin accessible; - it is possible to insert a Class I plug into the socket-outlet part of the adaptor which bypasses the earth. - there is no fuse of 13 A as required in UK. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 60884.
