The product poses a chemical risk because the belt of the toy contains di-(2-etilhexil)-phthalate (DEHP) and dibutil- phthalate (DBP) in higher quantity than the permitted 0,1 %w/w. The recommendation for age over 3 years is not appropriate since rattles are intended for babies’ use.The product does not comply with the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC and the relevant European standard EN-71.
