Toy gun – gun with darts 'Police set' was recalled on 25 May 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0449/07. Choking, Injuries risk reported by Latvia. This toy poses a risk of :- choking because suction caps can break in peaces by impact force and can cause choking hazard as they fit into the small parts cylinder;– injuries because darts without suction caps can cause injuries when shot out.

Risk Description

This toy poses a risk of :- choking because suction caps can break in peaces by impact force and can cause choking hazard as they fit into the small parts cylinder;– injuries because darts without suction caps can cause injuries when shot out.The toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

The set contains a gun, projectiles (darts) and an aim. The gun is made of black plastic which is painted with silver colour. The toys body is fixed by screws. The projectiles are made of black plastic, at the end of the darts are fixed suction caps which are made of red polymer. The aim is made of black plastic and cardboard. Package: all items are placed on a cardboard plate and fixed to the plate with transparent polymer.
