Risk Description
If the glass container breaks and the asbestos board pads are handled, asbestos fibres (carcinogenic if inhaled, class 1 IARC) may be released. The laboratory tests revealed the presence of serpentine asbestos (chrysotile variety) and amphibole asbestos (crocidolite variety).
