Thermoelectric sauna belt was recalled on 24 August 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0881/07. Burns risk reported by Spain. This product poses a risk of burns because:- the machine does not switch off automatically after 50 minutes of use as stated in the instructions,- the conductor section of the supply cable is 0.

Risk Description

This product poses a risk of burns because:- the machine does not switch off automatically after 50 minutes of use as stated in the instructions,- the conductor section of the supply cable is 0.23 mm², which is less than the stipulated 0.5 mm²,- the power absorbed indicated on the instructions (28 W) is not the same as that indicated on the appliance (35 W).In addition, the instructions are in English. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335-1.

Belt on which is written “SAUNA BELT PREMIER AB”. It comes packed in a cardboard box bearing the wording “PREMIER AB SAUNA BELT”.
