Risk Description
The plastic material of the toys contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 33.2% by weight) and di-(2-butyl) phthalate (DBP) (measured value: 0.149% by weight). Theses phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. It contains also di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured value: 0.155 % by weight).According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP and DBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles. The phthalate DINP is prohibited in toys and childcare articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
