Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the heads of the dolls contain di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) above the permitted levels (measured value up to 40.8 % by weight) According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or the childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
