Teddy bear was recalled on 27 May 2011 under EU Safety Gate alert 0455/11. Choking, Strangulation risk reported by France. The product poses a risk of:- choking, because of a small part (wooden ball) which can be easily detached, and could be swallowed or inhaled,- strangulation, because of a cord longer than 220 mm with balls at both ends, which could be removed and form a noose around the neck.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of:- choking, because of a small part (wooden ball) which can be easily detached, and could be swallowed or inhaled,- strangulation, because of a cord longer than 220 mm with balls at both ends, which could be removed and form a noose around the neck.The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71.
