The product poses a chemical risk because it contains azo dyes releasing aromatic amine o-toluidine and 5-nitro-o-toluidine classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic and sensitising.According to the Council of Europe Resolution ResAP (2008)1 on requirements and criteria for the safety of tattoos and permanent make-up' o-toluidine and 5-nitro-o-toluidine should not be present in tattoo ink.
