The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:- the flex passes over sharp edges, which may result in wear of the cable insulation,- the sleeve is not insulated,- the internal wiring is not protected against sharp edges.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:- the flex passes over sharp edges, which may result in wear of the cable insulation,- the sleeve is not insulated,- the internal wiring is not protected against sharp edges.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product Description

The product in question is a cuboid-shaped lamp which is 20 cm in height. It is made of ceramic and the vertical sides have a grid-like structure. The upper side is smooth and dark brown and its base is covered in black towelling to which is attached an adhesive label providing the following information: barcode: 8408832321140, ref. 883232.
