Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because: - there is external and internal wiring, - the size of the plug is not compliant, - the cord cross-section is 0.1 mm2,- the supply cord is not appropriately anchored to the lamp and moves freely, - the supply cord can be released from the switch screws, - the plastic material of the bulb holder does not meet requirements, - marking, data about frequency, type of supply and other instructions are missing. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product Description
Table lamp made from PVC and a lampshade covered in textile. The lamp has a brown base with a blue textile cover decorated with flowers. A sticker on the bottom of the base contains data concerning the origin and the importer. A black supply cord is anchored to the base marked "PVC INSULATED WIRE 300/300V"; the plug contains data 6A, 250 V. Packaging: a cardboard box marked "LAMP TL-159, Made in China", six safety warnings in foreign language and warning: "Choking hazard- Small parts. Not for children under 3 years."
