Risk Description

A software defect in the superstructure design and the power take-off system can cause unexpected acceleration. This slows the driver’s reaction to stop the lorry and increases the risk of an accident, although the brakes remain functional. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
