Risk Description
The ambient temperature sensor may malfunction. If this occurs, the engine controller will not detect sensor failure and consequently the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) will not illuminate. These systems monitor the vehicle’s exhaust and pollution control devices to ensure that they are operating properly. The product does not comply with the OBD (On-board diagnostics) regulation.
