Risk Description
The engine management software could cause the oil/vacuum pump, which supplies vacuum for brake assistance (brake boost), to become damaged. This may occur when 1) pressing the engine start/stop button two times in rapid succession, or 2) depressing the brake pedal very briefly while pressing the engine start/stop button.This could result in a loss of brake assistance and increased stopping distance, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of Motor Vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
