Risk Description

Sunglasses do not have warnings that they are not suitable for direct solar viewing and not suitable for driving or other road use. These products are considered to be dangerous due to the risk of confusing the colours of traffic lights.These products do not comply with the European standard EN 1836.

Product Description

Sunglasses are labelled with 2 labels attached to the frame by a plastic ring:-one label indicates the type on one side (e.g. cool) and a bar code and the model name (e.g. col 53) on the other side;-the other label indicates the filter category and compliance with the en 1836:1997 standard. These glasses are wrapped in a transparent plastic film which itself has no label. The frames are marked on the sides with the CE marking, the model name and the filter category.
