Submersible electromagnetic vibrating pump was recalled on 6 November 2009 under EU Safety Gate alert 1407/09. Electric shock risk reported by Slovakia. The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the power input and the current exceeds the maximum permitted value,- the leakage current is higher than permitted ,- the cross-section of the wires in the supply cord is too small,- the wires are not sufficiently secured against accidental loosening,- resistance between protective parts is not sufficiently low.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the power input and the current exceeds the maximum permitted value,- the leakage current is higher than permitted ,- the cross-section of the wires in the supply cord is too small,- the wires are not sufficiently secured against accidental loosening,- resistance between protective parts is not sufficiently low.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

Submersible electromagnetic vibrating hydrostatic pump intended for permanent underwater operation. It is made from alloy of aluminium with a flexible membrane. Marking on the product - marina ®, Q 1080 l/h, IP 68, H max. 70 m, P 280 W, 230 V ~ 50 Hz, n 2800 min-1.
