Risk Description
The plastic material of the product contains an excessive amount of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured values: up to 19.1 % by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system.The product contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value up to 0.31%). SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation and with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
