Risk Description

A chemical change in the active substance in the front airbag gas generator can cause an increase in the internal pressure. In the event of an accident, the gas generator may burst and injure the occupants of the vehicle with metal fragments. Furthermore, the airbag will not unfold and protect properly in this situation. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
