Risk Description
The strength of the seams is not sufficient and a chamber may start to leak after prolonged or repeated use. The deflation of the chamber may affect buoyancy, as well as the size of the product. Consequently, the product might not stay on the child's upper arms, posing a risk of drowning.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment Directive and the relevant European standard EN 13138.

Who is at risk?
Children are at extreme risk. Drowning can occur in as little as 2 cm of water.
