Risk Description
The plastic material of the doll contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 28.5% by weight), di-butyl phthalate (DBP) (measured value: 1.73% by weight). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. It also contains di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured value: 0.81% by weight). The product does not comply with the requirements of the REACH Regulation.In addition, it contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCP) (measured value 0.19% by weight). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
