Soother holder was recalled on 13 July 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0673/07. Choking, Suffocation risk reported by Slovenia. This product poses a risk of choking to children because during the tensile test:- the chain broke generating small parts,- the fastener was ripped off and fitted within the small parts cylinder,and a risk of suffocation because the fastener is not permanently attached and it does not have ventilated areas.

Risk Description

This product poses a risk of choking to children because during the tensile test:- the chain broke generating small parts,- the fastener was ripped off and fitted within the small parts cylinder,and a risk of suffocation because the fastener is not permanently attached and it does not have ventilated areas.This product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 12586.

Soother holder in the shape of a teddy bear with a chain. This product has warnings that it is not a toy. On the contrary the product is marked with the CE marking.
