Risk Description

The soother holder does not have the required ventilation holes, leading to suffocation. The clasp of the soother holder is protruding. A small child can put it in the mouth and choke. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN71-1.

Recommended action

Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer. Suffocation: Remove the product and any packaging from the child's reach immediately. If a child is having difficulty breathing, call emergency services. Dispose of plastic packaging safely.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. Infants and toddlers are at highest risk. Never leave plastic bags or soft materials in a sleeping area.
