Soft toy - "PILOU" soft toy in the form of a duck with a sucker attached was recalled on 3 August 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0749/07. Choking risk reported by France. The toy poses a serious risk of suffocation because of the presence of a suction cup on a cord which fits entirely into the small part cylinder.

Risk Description
The toy poses a serious risk of suffocation because of the presence of a suction cup on a cord which fits entirely into the small part cylinder. The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and the European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description
Stuffed soft toy duck; blue with yellow feet, a yellow fabric waistcoat with white spots, a red jumper and white gloves. On the head there is a tuft of blue hair, a cap with a white Velcro fastener and eyebrows made of black thread. The eyes are made of black and white plastic and there is a crest made of blue felt. The toy also has a transparent plastic sucker, attached with a light blue satin cord, and a textile label.
