Risk Description

The cables for the USB sockets in the seat-backs of the passenger seats may chafe or become trapped owing to inadequately fastened connecting wires. As a result, the USB charging sockets may fail to work. If cables wear through or are damaged by becoming trapped, an electrical fault may occur, leading to a fire risk.
