Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the plastic projectiles contain 0.75 % by weight of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 13% by weight of Dibutyl - phthalate (DBP).According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.In addition, the product poses also a risk of choking to small children because the suction cups could be removed by applying a force less than allowed by the relevant standard, and therefore they can be swallowed. The product does not comply with the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
