Risk Description

The product poses a chemical risk because the soles of the shoes have high levels of extractible chrome (120 mg/kg) and in particular of chrome VI (60 mg/kg). Chrome VI is a contact allergen. Furthermore, the chrome VI components are generally very toxic. One incident reported.
