Set of sun blinds was recalled on 24 October 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 1227/08. Suffocation risk reported by France. The product poses a risk of suffocation due to easy removal of the suction cups on the sun blinds and, since the lateral sun blinds are designed for installation in the vicinity of young children, the suction cups could be pulled off by a child and placed in the mouth.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of suffocation due to easy removal of the suction cups on the sun blinds and, since the lateral sun blinds are designed for installation in the vicinity of young children, the suction cups could be pulled off by a child and placed in the mouth. The suction cups on all 3 models can be detached at forces between 8 N and 72 N (instead of the required resistance of 90 N) and they fit entirely into the small parts cylinder.
