Set of rattles in the shape of 4 teddy bears, an earphone and a car was recalled on 30 March 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0288/07. Choking, Suffocation risk reported by Cyprus. This product poses a serious risk of:- choking because the ring at the end of the cord can easily be untied and entirely fits within the small parts cylinder presenting a chocking hazard;- suffocation caused by strangulation because the cord's thickness is 1.

Risk Description

This product poses a serious risk of:- choking because the ring at the end of the cord can easily be untied and entirely fits within the small parts cylinder presenting a chocking hazard;- suffocation caused by strangulation because the cord's thickness is 1.34 mm instead of 1.5 mm and the increase of the length of the cord is 256 mm, which exceeded 40% of the initial length.This toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
