The product contains an excessive cadmium content (85 % by weight in the earring ‘black gold square amulet’). Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, damages the kidneys and the bones and is carcinogenic. The product also contains an excessive level of lead (4% by weight in the earring "Stab weiße Trottel Hülse golden"). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can induce developmental neurotoxicity and may be harmful to unborn children or infants being breastfed. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
