Scratch petard
Scratch petard was recalled on 23 March 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0255/07. Injuries risk reported by Czechia. This product poses a serious risk of injuries because:- the explosive composition in each product exceeds the permissible amount of pyrotechnical composition for Danger Class II;- the product, in some cases, does not comply with technical requirements on the time of function retardation for the determined time limit;- small pouring of the composition occurs out of the products.

Risk Description
This product poses a serious risk of injuries because:- the explosive composition in each product exceeds the permissible amount of pyrotechnical composition for Danger Class II;- the product, in some cases, does not comply with technical requirements on the time of function retardation for the determined time limit;- small pouring of the composition occurs out of the products.Accidents involving scorch and contusion of hands and laceration of skin have been reported.
