Risk Description
The products pose a chemical risk because they contain banned azo-colourants. The turquoise blue scarf released 51 mg/kg of benzidine and 270 mg/kg of 3,3’-dimethoxybenzidine, which both exceed the limit of 30 mg/kg. The red scarf released 880 mg/kg of benzidine, which exceeds the limit 30 mg/kg.The products do not comply with the REACH Regulation.
