Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains banned azocolourants. The turquoise colour in the turquoise and black scarf releases 100 mg/kg of benzidine and 75 mg/kg of 3,3’-dimethoxybenzidine, which both exceed the limit of 30 mg/kg. The turquoise colour in the turquoise and dark blue scarf releases 120 mg/kg of benzidine and the dark blue colour releases 230 mg/kg of benzidine, which both exceed the limit of 30 mg/kg.The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
