Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because live parts could be touched by the user:· Parts of the supply cable which have only basic insulation are accessible. In case of damage to the insulation, live metal parts become accessible. · The lampholder is not secured against twisting, so the lampholder may come unscrewed when the user is changing the lamp. · The touchable metal screws in the cord anchorage system are in contact with the supply cable.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
Product Description
Salt crystal lamp. The base parts of the portable luminaire: a white plastic E14 lampholder supplied with a mains plug and mains cable, and a wooden base plate. The translucent, 2 kg salt crystal lampshade is fixed to the wooden base plate with two wood-screws.
