Risk Description
The design of the device is appealing to children. They may consequently use the product in play and insert a metal object (e.g. a spoon) through the protective grille, touching live parts of the product. The internal wiring can become damaged through contact with sharp edges of the insecticide grid. The user may touch the damaged wiring and receive an electric shock when removing the protective grille for cleaning purpose.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
