Risk Description

Single-pole insertion of a plug is possible leaving the free remaining live pin of the plug accessible. Plugs for devices which should be earthed (Class I protection) can be inserted into the socket-outlet part of the adaptor but the protective earth circuit continuity is interrupted. The side socket contacts of the adapter are too close to the covering so they can be touched directly.The product does not comply with the relevant standard IEC 60884.
