Risk Description
The product poses a risk to the health of children: - from the release of metal because the green paint of the toy contains lead at level of 290 mg/kg whereas the limit set in the relevant European standard EN 71-3 is 90 mg/kg. Lead is a poisonous heavy metal and it can cause dangerous health defects especially to small children;- from choking because the clown-shaped head of the toy fits into the small balls cylinder (template E). It can therefore enter and block the airway at the back of the mouth and upper throat of children contrary to the requirements of the relevant European standard EN 71-1.The product does not comply with the Toys Directive.
