Remote-controlled socket (set consisting of remote-controlled socket and remote-control device) was recalled on 10 August 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0801/07. Fire risk reported by Germany. This product poses a risk of fire because:- when a test current of 20 amperes was connected to a sample for the load test, there was an increase in temperature of more then 62 K.

Risk Description
This product poses a risk of fire because:- when a test current of 20 amperes was connected to a sample for the load test, there was an increase in temperature of more then 62 K. A short-circuit occurred on the printed-circuit board;- there is no indication of rated current.This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the R&TTE Directive.
