Risk Description
The product poses a serious risk of electric shock because :- during the load testing, the printed board on the socket burned through and the temperature of the contacts increased by more than 85K,- all four sockets examined had too wide a gap (ranging from 29.4 mm to 30.8 mm) between the protective contacts. Where the gap between the protective contacts is too wide, a safe connection between plugged-in devices and the protective conductor is not guaranteed. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive, with the Directive on Radio Equipment and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment and with the relevant standards.
