Risk Description
The plastic material contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measures value up to 2% by weight) and lead (measured value up to 0.5% by weight). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment.Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may also affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the POP Regulation and the REACH Regulation.
