Rechargeable torch "Rechargeable Cadmium Searchlig was recalled on 16 December 2011 under EU Safety Gate alert 1400/11. Electric shock, Fire risk reported by Hungary. The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:· the dimensions of the built-in plug and the adaptor are not correct;· the pins of the adaptor are not supplied with insulating sleeves; · the construction of the pins of the battery charger and the adaptor enables single-pole insertion of the plug, thus during normal use the live parts of the product are accessible;· the cross-section area of the conductors in the cable is less then required and the internal wires may overheat.

Product Description
Rechargeable torch with 7 + 8 LEDs. The housing is made of yellow plastic, with a black operating button and a green charge indicator LED. The battery can be charged by means of the telescopic pins of the built-in plug. It can be connected to the Hungarian socket-outlet with a flat, bipolar adaptor
