Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- a knot is used to anchor the cable. During regular use the knot may move to such an extent that it no longer protects against twisting and pulling force and the ends of the wires may become free; - the edges of the compartment housing the battery charging cable and the plug are sharp, and may, therefore, damage the cable. As a consequence, the basic insulated internal wiring cables may contact the accessible metal parts. The product poses a risk of fire because the cross-sectional area of the core of the cable fixed to the torch is substantially less than required and, in case of a short circuit occurring, it would overheat. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
