The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cross-sectional area of the conductors in the supply cord is less than required,- adequate cord anchorage is missing,- basic insulated parts are accessible,- the mechanical strength of the casing is insufficient and can break causing live parts to become accessible.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cross-sectional area of the conductors in the supply cord is less than required,- adequate cord anchorage is missing,- basic insulated parts are accessible,- the mechanical strength of the casing is insufficient and can break causing live parts to become accessible.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product Description

Rechargeable battery-operated lamp. The casing of the product is made of black or yellow plastic. 8 white LEDs are used for the main lighting function, and the luminaire is also supplied with an incandescent lamp, and a built-in battery, which is rechargeable from the mains supply.
