Rattle toy was recalled on 16 September 2022 under EU Safety Gate alert A11/00107/22. Choking risk reported by Germany. The handle of the rattle toy is too long and if a child puts it in the mouth it can block the airways and cause choking.

Risk Description
The handle of the rattle toy is too long and if a child puts it in the mouth it can block the airways and cause choking. The toy does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive, nor with the European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description
Wooden rattle toy with jingle-bells resembling a dumbbell, with dimensions of 10 cm x 4 cm x 4 cm, and a mass of 24 g. A groove is milled into the wood, containing three metallic clips with a diameter of approximately 7 mm. The product was sold online, in particular via Etsy.
