Rattle for babies was recalled on 5 June 2010 under EU Safety Gate alert 0856/10. Choking risk reported by Spain. The product poses a risk of choking because it can release small parts:- the knot on one end of the cord on the rattle can come undone releasing the coloured balls threaded on the cord;- the plastic parts can break releasing the plastic balls contained inside.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of choking because it can release small parts:- the knot on one end of the cord on the rattle can come undone releasing the coloured balls threaded on the cord;- the plastic parts can break releasing the plastic balls contained inside.The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71.

Product Description

Rattle for a baby's pram with five plastic parts of different shapes and colours. Between the figures are little balls, also of different colours. There are two orange rings at the ends of the rattle. The product is packaged in a cardboard box.
