Risk Description
The earthing socket on the plug has incorrect dimensions, which may disrupt the protective earth connection. This increases the risk of electric shock when using an improperly insulated appliance with the extension lead.Moreover, the socket is not equipped with covers, a vulnerable user could receive an electric shock from accessible live parts.In addition, the extension lead can overheat and cause burns to the user or start a fire.
